Meet Randy - A True Vegas Original. Randy moved to Las Vegas in 1961 when his dad was stationed here with the Air Force, and he’s called it home ever since. Back then, the city had under 180,000 residents and just a few stoplights. He’s loved watching Vegas grow—just like his own family.

He met his wife Debbie 34 years ago while working on a job site at the Mirage. They have built a beautiful life together, raising two sons who still live locally and now enjoying five grandkids who visit often—especially the custom playroom Randy built just for them! Every Sunday night, the whole crew gathers for family dinner, and when it’s Randy’s turn to cook, you’re in for a treat—his fish tacos are legendary.

A proud union man, Randy joined the Carpenters Local at age 19, became a general foreman at age 26, and now has an ownership piece of Penta. His motto? Work hard, play hard. He’s an avid fisherman (deep sea or river—he’s happy anywhere with fish), and he also loves hunting, skiing, and, of course, cooking.

Above all, Randy is about family. His deep love and pride for his wife, kids, and grandkids is clear in everything he does. That’s why our tellers nominated him. — He’s not just a hard worker and a great cook, he’s also a generous community member, supporting causes like Susan G. Komen and The Shade Tree.
